The best times that I have now are when Michael is home and we have special time together as a family. Last Friday was one of those days. After a spectacular breakfast of blueberry pancakes, bacon and eggs, we went to the California State Train Museum in Old Sacramento. What a fun day! Lucas really loved seeing all of the train stuff, especially the toy trains, Thomas the Train play area and the sleeper car that you could walk through which moved and sounded like a real train.
I love all being together, getting out of the house for a change and seeing the world through the precious eyes of a child.

That's must be great to have those special Friday's to spend together as a family. I'm sure the kids will really love that as they get older. I agree with Christa - that looks like a fun place. Someday when we make it out to the great state of California to visit you guys we'll have to check it out. Eric loves trains and hopes to pass that interest on to Ian as well.

Those are my favorite times too. Although doing chores on Saturday is pretty fun.

BTW, we bought a Sole treadmill yesterday!. Tom had agreed all along, but with all the New Year's Resolution people, we were having a hard time finding a good- used one.
It will be delivered in 2 weeks. Until then, I'm pretending in the spot where it will go. This annoys Tom and makes Travis laugh, which makes it worth it and funny.
