Tricked

Apparently,we haven't gotten off to a good start in our new neighborhood. Note to selves for next year: Give out Halloween candy. And good stuff, like chocolate. These people are brutal.

We both took Lucas trick or treating (he was Elmo) in our old neighborhood. We wanted to show off Emily, too, as most of the old neighbors have never seen her. So we weren't home to hand out candy this year. But we did turn the light off. And that was unacceptable I guess.

Not sure if it was Charmin or not. As Mike was cleaning it up, he showed me the pile of tp and I saw a roll that was still mostly rolled up. Not wanting to be wasteful, I thought that we should use it, but Mike threw it away instead. Oh well.

Hey, in Kentucky they consider that a huge benefit! Free TP! Try giving out lit M80s next year. That will teach the little vermin! Planting landmines in the yard can be effective as well. I guess being in California, the locals expect hand-outs from everywhere. If they don't get them, someone has to pay!

We are lucky as we don't get a single kid parading past the house begging for candy, even with the lights on. I had some leaky alkaline batteries ready incase they did.
